Many of you may be enjoying the nice autumn weather with leaves turning brown and red. But here in Singapore, is as always hot and sunny. I miss the Tokyo autumn where we have many great seasonal food like Matsutake (Japanese pine mushroom), Japanese grapes, Yuzu etc…
So I decided to have a little bit of autumn mood at the dinner and coordinate it with autumn color dishes and flavors.
Japanese food is all about the seasonal food and detailed taste but also the table setting and presentation is very important to us. For example, what kind of dish we use with which shape and color.
At least for me, since we only got one season in Singapore, I try to bring the four seasons ambience at least to the dinner table!
